The Saturday Night Live comedian was pictured shooting an intense scene with British actress Bel Powley, where they had an intense exchange after filming in a pizza place in Staten Island, New York. The project, directed by Judd Apatow, is as yet untitled, and is a semi-autobiographical comedy based on Pete’s life and it’s rumoured to touch on the death of Pete’s father, a New York City firefighter who was killed in 9/11. Pete was just seven years old when he lost his dad, Scott Davidson, in the terror attack on the World Trade Center on 11th September, 2001 and Pete regularly references his father’s death in his work.
